A wonderful day @ Jurong Bird Park

Thank God for the excellent weather yesterday. We set off around 1pm.. Hubby meeting ended late, so we wait and wait... initally wanted to go for lunch, then to Bird PArk, so my maid dint not cook... in the end it became so late, so we tabao some food from Old Chang kee @Calex and eat in the car. Then we set off to PAS club to pick up the corporate pass then to the Bird Park. Grace was in a cranky mood, keep wanting me and carry her and dun wan to sit in the stroller.. maybe becuase she missed her nap... so had to coax and carry throughout the trip... John is more cooperative. He sits in the stroller most of the time and seems happy to see all the birds!! Our legs are really tired from climbing the slopes and carrying the kids, so we bought tram tickets to bring us round the Bird Park to have a "birdeye view"...Ha! Grace fell asleep in the tram!! Just before we left, we caught the show: Kings of the prey (if i rem correctly)... it was great! Good thing that we decided to stay for the show, else we would miss this fantastic show. We were sitting at the top corner (by chance, not on purpose), whereby the bird keeper release those eagles, falcons for the show. So when these birds are released, they tend to fly very low n hence me and my huby head got "flapped" by their gigantic wings!! hehe, if we knew, prob we would not have chose such a "dangerous" poistion...Then again, it was quite a unique experience! My maid was carrying JJ. The bird keeper and the eagles, falcons are really just standing right in front of him, but he is not afraid. he is enjoying the close up view, I think!!! Haha.. But i was a bit worried for him, cos I scared the birds fly too low and their claws might scratch him.....

We went home, bathed the kids, and me and hubby went out again to return the corporate pass at PSA club. Nice MIL agreed to stand in to help with the kids, so after returning the pass, we went to TCC @ Keppel bay for coffee (for me, hubby dun like kopi!) and enjoy some couple time. It was refreshing time 4 us.... really should do this more often!
