ONE

My little John is turning 1 tomorrow! I am feeling:
1) excited/thrilled/happy - because my son is 1 yr old! No more baby, a toddler now :)
2) sad - miss the baby stage + missed part of his growing phases (due to being a working mum! )

We had a mini-bdae party at home last sunday. Invited only the immediate family members (+ a close sec friend) So no catering, all home-cook food! :) Will post pictures later...

Tomorrow, 18th Nov, is JJ's actual birthday. So we applied for leave and plan to go to Jurong Bird Park (thank God, managed to get the corporate pass!). I am extremely excited about this and took leaev long long time ago.. but Dong is extremely bz these few weeks, hence was v diff for him to apply leave. BUT HE STILL DID! Happie!! This afternoon got a call from him during my lunch, and my sixth sense immediately tells me "is he going to tell me he cannot make it tml??" Hmm... guess woman's sixth sense is really quite "zun", cannot play play.. I am half right - Dong says he needs to go back office in the morning to settle some stuff and hence we can only go Bird park in the afternoon (he emphasis - Early afternoon). A bit disappointed but at least we can still go, but onli a bit later lor....HEHE :)
