Grace turned 2!!

Last sunday we had a mini celebration @ home for GG 2nd birthday. No balloons, no streamers, just a birthday cake :) haha... this mummy and daddy are becoming more "chin-chai". Things are getting more and more simpler as the number of children grows and of course as they become older!! But of course, I told myself, we will hold a bigger celebration for JJ when he turns 1 this Nov :) So this is just a family affair, both sides parents came over plus all our sblings and my nephews.. turn out to be quite a lot of ppl already and my hse is already packed! Oh yes, 2 of my JC friends (+ a BF) came. Initially they wanted to meet up but since I cannot go so I invited over my hse instead. They came and even bought GG a bag (tinklebell- hmm.. definitely not my era character! anyway, it was a very nice bag, will pose potos some other time) and a lot of pop-up story books!! haha.. and guess wat, the very day, GG torn 2 of these books!! Aiyo, GG is getting more out of hand these days... Being rude to us/grandma, alwaz say "NO", refuse to share, not obeying instruction. And nowadays, she is getting more mischievious and like to make this face:

Ok, will definitely learn to be patient with her!! God will give me patience and strength!! :) But I must say her expression sometimes are really very cute and farnie!! haha

Back to the b'dae party, oh, the next day is Vesak Day so no work hence the party also ended a bit later at 830! (not too late lah, but still am so shack after the whole day of event) Yay! Am glad that GG had her fun with her cousins. My sister brought a set of beach toys (comprising a watering can, a bucket, a spade and a barrow) and a set of colouring tools from my brother (but too 'chim' to use for her age, so shall keep till she is older). She had a small fight with her cousin, James, who is 1 mth younger than her over her presents ... GG refused to share her toys are hence the fight begins!! these fights are getting more frequent now. When they are smaller, they are nonchalent even if their toys are snatched as they will just moved on to the next toy. now, times are different, they will fight back and cry and scream till they get their way!! So now I understand why parents always buy 2 SAME toys for their children!

Ok, a pict of my 2 precious babes again! Must say GG is becoming more like a jiejie now. She will sayang JJ but will also be bossy at times (didi cannot this, cannot that).. haha, quite farnie...
